There is no better improvement a person can make than to gain more control over their internal, mental and emotional processes.
As a practitioner and teacher of the art and science of change, my emphasis is on helping you gain greater control of these processes because it’s directly related to your ability to be productive, resourceful, and effective.
I’m more interested in “how” you think, rather than “what” you think. So, rather than wallow in the content of “the problem”, we primarily focus on: (1) how you uniquely process that content; (2) discovering the structure of what prevents you from achieving your goal; (3) changing that structure to make your goal more achievable; (4) the overall development and growth of you as a unique individual during the process; and (5) your future goals and objectives.
Most significant change occurs only with the involvement and cooperation of your subconscious mind.
Being highly-trained and board certified in working with the subconscious mind means I have a comprehensive understanding of behavior modification, as well as expertise in facilitating deep levels of long-term change so I can quickly help you to gain profound insight, resolve old patterns, and let go of the negativity, limiting beliefs, and inner conflicts that are blocking happiness, prosperity and success from your life.
There’s a big difference between your intellect (conscious mind) and your behavior (subconscious, or habitual mind). It’s the difference between “talking the talk” (your desired behavior) and “walking the walk” (your actual behavior).
If you wonder what would happen if you unlocked more of your own potential to change, improve or achieve anything in your life, perhaps now is the time. Imagine the increased wholeness and options in life that await.
Isn’t it time to commit yourself to investing in the future you deserve?

A little more about me…
I’ve always been very curious about human behavior. Maybe it’s because of my exposure to different cultures. I was born in Taiwan and then moved to the island of Guam when I was 7 years old. At age 16, I moved to the United States. (I speak English, Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese.)
I grew up in a very strict household, where independent thought (and a humorous outlook) was not always welcome. Well, I had plenty of both. In short, I was labeled “the black sheep” who stood out from “the flock”. From my perspective, I was simply making the choice early on to choose my own path and live my own life.
That strong curiosity of mine led to my always having a diverse range of friends from all walks of life. Because of my ever-present interest in their hopes, fears and motivations for “why they do what they do” in their lives, I became known as “a good listener”.
But it wasn’t until I worked at the Camarillo State Mental Hospital, after being laid off from a corporate job, that I took my fascination with human behavior to the next level. It was there that I discovered how much I really enjoy helping people who are undergoing various mental challenges in their lives.
The turning point in my life came after my father passed away. I became intensely introspective and felt lost. Something was missing. (I found out later that “something” was my calling.) By chance, I met a passionate artist (who is now my partner) during this time who recognized my strengths and inspired me to train in the field of personal development.
And during the process of my training (years ago) for this rewarding life of helping others, naturally, I learned so much more about my own truth—and how to be a good coach to myself.
One of the first major break-throughs I experienced early on with my new tools (and a trusted hypnotherapist/mentor) involved the strained, dysfunctional relationship I had experienced with my mother for most of my life. I made the firm commitment to step out of my comfort zone and work toward letting that old stuff go.
In a relatively short period of time (because hypnotherapy is one of the fastest, most effective forms of therapy), my relationship with my mother improved dramatically. I then realized the extraordinary power of this work. Something I never thought could happen became a true blessing in my life. And I was overjoyed!
Consequently, as I experienced the power of this work for myself, I wanted even more to help others to overcome their challenges and create what they want in their lives!
I also let go of a lifelong phobia I had in less than 30 minutes—which is something I now do with clients. (You can read more about the unique nature of the work I do on the Frequently Asked Questions page.)
Today, I coach individuals worldwide and lead certification trainings in hypnotherapy, coaching and energy healing—as well as teach other self-development workshops.
And I’m ready to show you how to have similar breakthroughs for yourself as part of your own customized coaching program.
If you’re on the fence right now about whether or not to see Evelyn, let me assist you. She is delightful, and the work she did with me has had a profound influence. My experience with her has improved my ability to access joy, empowerment and freedom. I could go on, but those are the big ones. This style of self improvement isn’t mainstream, but don’t let that mislead you. From personal experience, I say—without hesitation—the way Evelyn employs her skills gets results. I was trained as a nurse before seeing Evelyn, and what she offers would help most any person who is willing to try something (for lack of a better word) “unconventional”. She will help you tap into your own resources, and get in touch with your own self. Modern medicine and other practitioners, in my experience, do not offer this path. Thank you, Evelyn!
EVELYN IS AMAZING. As a coach myself, I really value someone who can blend both empathy and strategy. Evelyn helped me get to the root of an emotional eating problem I had been struggling with for years, shift my high-achievement mindset to create more lifestyle balance, and get clear on what I actually value out of life. She is a wizard of transformation and knows exactly where to go and what to do to get you your breakthrough. NLP and hypnotherapy are the WAY TO GO if you’re looking for real transformation and Evelyn is a master at this craft! Highly highly recommend!!! Thank you Evelyn!!
